【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidesstandardproceduresforthecalibrationofopticalfibrechromaticdispersion(CD)testsets.ItalsoprovidesprocedurestoperformcalibrationcheckingonCDtestsetswherebyanextensiontothetestsetcalibrationperiodmaybeobtained.ThisstandardisapplicabletoalltypesofCDtestsets,withtheexceptionthatmeasurementsonmultimodeopticalfibresareexcluded.Thepurposeofthisstandardistodefineastandardprocedureforcalibratingopticalfibrechromaticdispersion(CD)testsets.ThedetailedcalibrationstepsusedvaryaccordingtothemeasurementtechniqueusedintheCDtestset.WhilstitisacknowledgedthatchromaticdispersionalsooccursinmultimodefibreandthisfibremaybemeasuredonmanyCDtestsets,thisstandardwillrestrictdiscussiontosinglemodefibremeasurementsonly.ThepurposeoftheproceduresoutlinedinthisstandardistofocusmanufacturersandusersofCDtestsetstowardthereductionofmeasurementuncertaintyinchromaticdispersiondeterminationinopticalfibresunderallapplicableconditions.TheproceduresapplytocalibrationlaboratoriesandtothemanufacturersorusersofCDtestsetsforthepurposeofa)calibratingCDtestsets;b)settingspecificationsofCDtestsets;c)extendingthecalibrationperiodofanalreadycalibratedCDtestset.UseoftheproceduresalsoallowscorrectevaluationofCDtestsetuncertainty,relativeandtraceabletoappropriate(forexample,national)standards.
