【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC9798specifiesentityauthentica-tionmechanismsusingacryptographiccheckfunction.Twomechanismsareconcernedwiththeauthenticationofasingleentity(unilateralauthentication),whiletheremainingaremechanismsformutualauthenticationoftwoentities.ThemechanismsspecifiedinthispartofISO/IEC9798usetimevariantparameterssuchastimestamps,se-quencenumbers,orrandomnumbers,topreventvalidauthenticationinformationfrombeingacceptedatalatertime.Ifatimestamporsequencenumberisused,onepassisneededforunilateralauthentication,whiletwopassesareneededtoachievemutualauthentication.Ifachal-lengeandresponsemethodemployingrandomnumbersisused,twopassesareneededforunilateralauthentica-tion,whilethreepassesarerequiredtoachievemutualauthentication.ExamplesofcryptographiccheckfunctionsaregiveninannexC.
