【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddefinesthecommandsetextensionsforSCSIstoragearraydevices;commonlyknownasRAIDdevices.Thisstandardisprincipallyintendedtobeusedinconjunctionwith,notasanalternateto,anyoftheSCSIcommandstandardsnortotheSCSI-3ArchitectureModel(ISO/IEC14776-411)standard.ThisinternationalstandardisintendedasanalternatetotheSCSI-3ControllerCommand(ISO/IEC14776-341)standard.TheresultingcommandsfacilitatethecontrolandconfigurationofSCSIstoragearraysandthusprovideacommoncommandspecificationforbothsystemintegratorsandsuppliersofSCSIstoragearraydevices.ThisinternationalstandardcontainsalltheinformationdefinedinSCSI-3ControllerCommand(ISO/IEC14776-341)standard.Inadditionthisinternationalstandardspecifiesnewcommandsandanexpandedmodelclause.Theclause(s)ofthisstandardpertainingtotheSCSIstoragearraydeviceclass,implementedinconjunctionwiththeapplicableclauseswithinanyoftheSCSIcommandstandards,shallspecifythestandardcommandsetavailableforSCSIstoragearrays.TheobjectiveoftheSCSIControllerCommandsistoprovidethefollowing:a)TransfercommandsuniquetoSCSIControllerCommanddevices;b)ControlcommandstomanagetheoperationofanSCSIControllerCommanddevice;c)Optionaldevicemappingandpass-throughsupport.
